About the Book
Behind the curtain of commercialism that is Rt 202 in Delaware and Pennsylvania is a strip of green, rolling hills lining the Brandywine River Valley. Tucked into hills criss-crossed by meandering trails and creeks are crop fields, a winery, a dairy and myriad stables. This is the visual story of one stable, known by many simply as Barn One. For 25 years it was a home to horses and home-away-from-home for children who grew to proudly say that they were raised in a barn.
