Two homeless men died of exposure on a major street in downtown Baltimore late November, 2005. This project was born after reading of their deaths in The Baltimore Sun. Initially, the project arose out of curiosity: “What is it like to sleep on a sidewalk, to not have a shower or a toilet?” After meeting a few of these men, however, it became my mission to understand something of the life of the homeless and to attempt to represent the face of homelessness. This book is the result of my effort to answer that question. -------------------------- Five dollars ($5.00), the sum profit, from every book sold is donated to Baltimore's Healthcare for the Homeless (http://www.hchmd.org/)
