About the Book
This is a photography book about the beauty of the four seasons of French Creek State Park in Berks County, PA over a two year span.
The book is organized starting with Fall and concludes with a bonus section called Black & White.
Common subjects are landscapes, reflections, boating, fishing, flora and fauna (i.e. insects, ducks, amphibians, and even beavers).
Locales featured are Scotts Run Lake and Hopewell Lake, various trail photos, Six Penny Area and the Hopewell Historic Site.
For every photo outing I was accompanied by my canine sidekick, Max, a 12 pound mini-dachshund. He becomes frenetic when he knows we're going for a walk and literally starts squealing as we drive up to the park.

About the Creator
Michael Roush
Birdsboro, PA 19508
I started taking pictures in 1982, age 18, after I received a Canon AE-1 Program as a graduation present. Photography has been a great hobby since then. A few years ago digital photography rekindled the passion. I've used numerous cameras in the last 20+ years and of late have been working with Kodak Ultrazoom digitals. My nature portfolio has grown large enough for a new book about the Birdsboro Waters (Haycreek Watershed) to be published in 2009.
