Slowscapes

Click to preview book

In a world that seems to increasingly value speed...fast food, fast cars, fast check-out, fast internet connection...it can be a relief to approach something slowly. Like rising dough, sprouting seeds, or leaves changing color in autumn, there is a special satisfaction that comes from allowing time to pass purely of its own accord.

With 48 color and monochrome, full page images, created using light and the passing of time, Slowscapes offers a view of the world at a pace that reveals the depth and spirit of place.

aikitherese  El Cerrito, CA, USA
Therese Brown is a photographic artist, living east of the San Francisco Bay just north of Berkeley, California.
