About the Book
An avid supporter of marriage equality, Krista donates all profit from the sales of HeartFound to Lamda Legal, and looks forward to the day that all people can marry legally in the United States. Donations are made in honor of her good friend, who has performed over 12 marriage ceremonies across the United States, yet she herself cannot legally marry her loved one in the state which she resides.

About the Creator
Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Krista Joy Niles positively loves capturing the unique beauty of everyday life, holding those moments forever suspended in photographs. Krista’s vibrant style infuses images with her affection for modern art and her infatuation with nostalgia. Krista specializes in portraiture and special event photography. With 20 years of experience as a photographer, Krista has worked for the New York Times, the Associated Press, the Lincoln Journal-Star, the San Antonio Express-News and many media organizations. In 2002, Krista won the Pulitzer Prize in Breaking News for her contributions to The New York Times’ coverage of September 11, 2001. Currently the Program Director at VOICES, Inc., a Tucson-based non-profit that mentors youth in the documentary arts. Krista earned her B.A. in photojournalism at San Francisco State University and is working toward her Masters of Art in Art History at the University of Arizona.
