About the Creator
Photography has been a hobby for me since 1982 when I shot my first film image with a reflex camera. As an avid electrical engineer, fascinated with technology and innovation, conversion to digital photography was an easy and welcome transition that occurred in the year 2000. After a trip to Baja California in 2005 to watch the gray whale migration, travel and photography became an integral part of my life. I have visited over thirty-five countries -- camera in hand -- many of them not in the main tourist circuit among them Greenland, Kyrgyzstan and Ghana to name a few. My main photographic interest centers on wildlife and landscapes. One of my photographs earned an award from the World Wildlife Fund.
