About the Book
The photographic images in this book explore the limits of portable digital photography, abstracting scenes with rapid motion and observing the interactions between imagemaking technologies.
Other images and texts are artifacts of the screen, both found and manipulated. These include extracts from social media, transcribed captions, personal conversations, capcha images, cropped subtitles and more. In a sense, then, this is an infinitely collaborative project, drawing from the preexisting and constantly-expanding archive of the Internet for spare pixels and miscommunication. It could not exist without you, whoever you are.
Thank you.
