About the Book
If travel is supposed to broaden your horizons and take you out of your comfort zone, I took my ultimate trip in December 2013. I fear being cold, I'm shy around groups of strangers, and I like to be in control. So what was I doing on an expedition ship in Antarctica with plans to go camping & kayaking. The result was an eye-opening voyage with a remarkable group of people. It was also the chance to take some photographs I am truly proud of - especially the snow petrels "bathing" on the ice, the glowing blue ice bergs, and the playful penguins (who are never shy)

I no longer feel like trying to take over the corporate world so I'm enjoying all of my free time and seeing the world in a way I never did on all of those endless business trips. A little consulting on the side pays the bills. I blog a bit, I scribble a bit of poetry, I take A LOT of pictures.
