About the Book
It presents the insider's story of how the author managed to survive repeated attempts to have him fired. Situations were repeatedly engineered by the Chairman in order to discredit him. Eventually the Chairman's attempts to have the author dismissed escalated to an obsession that bordered on the irrational.
An obsession that became so bizarre that it led to an unprecedented joint sitting of the Cairns City Council and the Cairns Harbour Board with the sole purpose of publicly humiliating the author and providing grounds for his dismissal.
HINDSIGHT provides a revealing insight into the character of the Chairman from the author's perspective and describes how the conflict between the two polarized personalities played out.
