About the Creator
William Wieting
York Harbor, Maine
An alumnus of Hamilton College and Boston University School of Medicine, Bill is now a retired physician (and former US Navy Captain (Medical Corps)) living in York Harbor, Maine with his wife, Amey, their cat Triscuit, and a 50-year collection of American art spanning over 200 years. When they bought their 1891 summer cottage on Aldis Lane, the 14-room house came with all its furnishings, including several 19th century oils which became the nucleus of a growing collection of paintings from the same era - the Gilded Age, or about 1870 to 1915.
