This is one book in a series, written by Carolina Martin, M.Ed. of www.artonwheels.us and illustrated by Julia Garmon of www.jgarmon.com. We've created a series of stories to teach about the basic elements of art. In this case, the focus is on the element of color. In this book, the birds, "Red", "Yellow" and "Blue" are the first birds to arrive on the street and to form a neighborhood. On the color wheel, red, yellow and blue are called the Primary Colors, from which all other colors are made. They are situated near each other. We've created this book to read to our new family blessing, Carolina's Grandson and Julia's Nephew. His Mom calls him her "Baby Bird".
