About the Book
Presenting the work of seven photographers, Amalagam, explores the meaning of borders, barriers and boundaries. Whether it be a fence, a language or state of mind, we all trespass borders, confront barriers and feel confined by boundaries.
Riding the rollercoaster that is life, experiencing the highs and lows and occasionally feeling suspended in mid-air inspired the diverse projects within Amalagam. It is our hope that you can enjoy, interpret and perhaps even relate to our range of intimate, playful and surreal interpretations of the borders, barriers and boundaries society confronts in daily life and depicted in our individual projects.
