About the Book
This book is a collection of works by Chris Meadham made between 1978 and 2000.
Using a variety of graphic and photographic techniques on photographic papers, I have introduced geometric structures and concepts into the landscape to evoke contemplative thought and imagination.
The locations are from many of Australia’s more remote National Parks to the dry parched mud flats of Lake George (near Bungendore) NSW Australia.
Always with a environmental concern, the images use symmetry in composition and introduce the protective influences, ideas and myths surrounding the historical use of the pyramids and other geometric shapes.
