This book covers the applicability of Bayesian probability methods for inference in Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) applications. The presentation format is via slide material and is intended to be the basis of a Bayesian course lecture. The first part of the book presents general concepts such as probability and probabilistic models. Representing engineering information via probability is described. During the later part of the book, more advanced quantification methods and tools are discussed, including items such as missing data, model validation, Monte Carlo sampling, and the use of WinBUGS. Case studies and associated WinBUGS scripts are provided.
