Selection From The Introduction
by Eve Ogden Schaub:

The best-selling book of all time begins with a story of myriad transformations. God the creator is the consummate artist: forming with a stroke heavens and earth, seas and land, animals and fish, forming man from dust and woman from man. What the old testament’s translation lacks in poetic description, it makes up for in the resonance of a profound idea: that of Eden- a perfect place.

Stephen Schaub’s newest portfolio “A New Eden” represents a harmonic convergence of sorts of all his previous works to date. Continued are his long-held fascinations with the natural landscape and the emotional import it holds, as well as his deft manipulation of unique technologies and materials, built-in variables and an embrace of what he refers to as the “joy of imperfection.”
