About the Book
All horses are beautiful. These particular horses belong to my mother's neighbors. They live in a small farming community in northern Utah. Over the years it's been my pleasure to see them and take pictures whenever I visit my mother. We all arm ourselves with carrots and apples and troop out to pet the horses--Mom, me, my children and grandchildren. We love these horses.
I made "The Horses Next Door" as a token of appreciation to Mom's next-door neighbors, who take as good care of her as if she were their own mother. I hope this book brings them even a fraction of the pleasure their horses bring to my family.
