About the Book
This book is the result of around three years of commissioned photography for clients in London, New York and Seattle.
Traveling around the world it becomes apparent that working life in a globalized economy is pretty uniform. The faces change a little, but generally office life is the same roller coaster of humdrum and mild panic the world over.
I am an ardent fan of the quotidian, and while the specific vernacular of office life is reduced due to the nature of transnational operations, there is still a huge delight in witnessing (and recording) the everyday architecture and nature of working life; the places, activities and the faces I find endlessly fascinating. The portrait section shows how diverse and beautiful we all our, even in the place where we become the least conscious of our identity, the work place.
