About the Book
In January 2013, a security flaw was uncovered which allowed the live webcam feeds from selected TRENDnet brand equipment to be viewed online without a password. Although the manufacturer acted swiftly to rectify the problem through a firmware update, 18 months on many unprotected feeds remain. The following series of images consists of screenshots from some of these feeds. The aim in archiving and displaying these images is to highlight the relationship between digital infrastructure and vulnerability.
