About the Book
Inhuman Trilogy is a long phisical and mental journey, it started in 2010 and lasted 4 years. It is a farewell chant to the Earth and a warning to human beings, a universal flood where every forms of human life is wiped out. There is no human trace, but just what rest of our planet.
Inhuman Trilogy is divided in three parts where they include sensations, perceptions, shouts and silences of sites that can not express all that. They are no-sites, where reality can be seen and it can live even out of simple and passive observation, they gap on world not formally detached or indifferent to whom they support, but they show an anomaly, a sort of new visual contact that it shall erouse some questions about what we are seeing. This work arises from the point that our quotidian life and our society make us forgotting tried emotions facing the simplicity of a sunset, or a soft fog, or a rock majesty.
Inhuman Trilogy begins with IN ANOTHER PLANE, panoramas carved by two light knifes, two monoliths that want to focus image soul, just to get more sensitize what we forgot to see, because to perceive do not means to recognize. Sites apparently simple from which, after hours and hours in observation, it emerges soul, underlined by two parallel light knifes, a geometrical set that want to reference to Gestalt principles by Wertheimer, most precisely to proximity principle, where the elements of perceptive field are joined together in forms as much cohesion as less distance between them.
The second chapter, titled QUIET\ADAGIO, presents sites lacking of any forms of life, a sort of martial ground. They are looking for light contact, the "prime mother" of any existence, and in them we can find unshapely and desolated panoramas, which uselessly search for a support, a shoulder on which they can pose for a last jump, for a last ditch effort before to give up, the last hope to revive.
Inhuman Trilogy ends with INTOBLACKHOLE, the last act of this descent to the nowhere.
