About the Book
'Flower' is a small collection of nature's most artistic and diverse creations. Over the last seven years Susanne Helmert has captured a variety of floral expressions - from the frilly folds of peonies and poppies, to the sensual curves of lilies and callas, to the soft petals of a tulip or rose.
At first glance color and scent would appear to be a flower's best qualities, but these black and white photographs prove that those aspects are not necessary to unveil the infinite beauty and individuality of these botanical treasures.
