About the Book
Bonnie Bronson (1940-1990) was a well known and respected artist in the Pacific Northwest until her untimely death in a mountaineering accident. Two decades after her death, curator and archivist Randal Davis discovered a never-exhibited series of drawings from her last years, now known as the Grids series. This monograph reproduces the entire series at full size. Bronson's daughter, Kassandra Kelly, contributes an introduction placing the series in the context of her life and other works. Randal Davis's commentary on the series relates Bronson's use of the format to similar practices in modern and contemporary art.
