About the Book
The first part of this book contains a selection of images made in Egypt's capital Cairo, the city with the largest population on the African continent. The second part shows images that were made during a roadtrip through the Western Desert, visiting the Oases of Bahariya, Farafra, Dakhla and Kharga. All images were shot between December 25th 2005 and January 6th 2006.
The various street views, desert landscapes, local people and other captured subjects will give you an impression of the atmosphere, the colours and the beauty I encountered while staying in Egypt.
