About the Book
"We didn't go there to look at it, we went there to take photographs of ourselves next to it"
While in Paris for work i had a 40 minute break and decided to pop into the Louvre, as one does. There was a strange pull that dragged me towards the Mona Lisa, but i found i could not objectively study the famous 'mysterious smirk' (or whatever it is) due to the incessant jostling, barging and camera flashing of tourists desperate to get their pictures taken with the famous one . So i decided that there was something more interesting to look at and snapped away at the people taking pictures of the picture.
