About the Book
Once in a while the grey Dutch winter behaves like a real winter. The direction of the wind changes to the east, north-east, importing cold air directly from the Arctic. This dry air clears the cloudy sky causing the temperature to drop far below zero. The sun does hardly elevate itself. The normally intense light feels like slowing down as well, leaving it more time to interact with the icy surfaces surrounding you. All of a sudden you enter a fantasy world here in Holland that will only exist for a few days. You are only given a few moments to freeze the scene - if you're lucky!
