About the Book
The Lincoln Park Zoo, and the neighboring Lincoln Park Conservatory, are two major attractions appreciated by visitors and Chicagoans. Admission to both the Zoo and the Conservatory are FREE. They welcome everyone every day year around.
The Conservatory’s front approach features a whole city block of manicured lawn. This plush carpet of grass lines the vistas between the constituent elements of a glorious formal garden. A fountain, with woodland themed sculptures, is centered in this sumptuous space. Off to one side, a dozen European Yew trees mask a portion of the eight-foot fence that separates the Conservatory grounds from the Zoo.
