About the Book
In January of 2015 travel writer and photographer Rob Parrett journeyed to the Moroccan city of Marrakech for a week – it was his first time in Africa and his first time travelling solo.
He spent time wandering the streets of Marrakech, having his senses battered in a maze of hassle-filled alleyways, before venturing eastwards out into Morocco, covering roughly one thousand kilometres over the Atlas Mountains, through barren river valleys and eventually into the Saharan desert itself.
With beautiful photography and articulate captions, this illustrated journal attempts to record and make sense of the fascinating people and stunning landscapes he observed throughout his stay in Morocco.
