About the Book
Brown anoles are very common small lizards in Florida, so common that they're usually overlooked and ignored.
In summer 2008 I became interested in taking pictures of the active little lizards running along my fences. Looking at them up close in photos, I was surprised to see distinct individuals with a wide variety of colors, sizes and markings. I found it fascinating to observe, photograph, and learn about brown anoles.
Here are dozens of photos of brown anoles, with lots of information about these lively little lizards.
