About the Book
Darlene and Glenn Miller have teamed with Ann and David Lynch to produce this account of the events that occurred during their visit to Decorah, Iowa in the summer of 2014, to document the Decorah Bald Eagle family. Including a Foreword by Bob Anderson that provides insight into the conservation efforts that he and the Raptor Resource Project have been doing for many years, it also contains 60 pages of the authors personal accounts about what they did, saw, and learned from their time in Decorah along with photographs of the parents and juvenile eagles. "Learning To Fly" tells the story of a very different kind of nesting season for the Decorah Eagles, and how hard this eagle family had to work to survive...
