About the Book
This book shows the photographer's documentary approach to his experience of New York.
New York is a visual sweet shop, with such interest that it's hard to know where to look let alone what to photograph.
You feel like you're walking on the set of a film, everywhere has a comforting familiarity as you've been here before but only in the movies you've seen.
The energy and light of the city were two of the key elements I wanted to capture in the photographs of this book.
There is a little bit of everything about New York here - famous tourist spots, the cliches, moments of humour, juxtapositions, from Fed Ex vans to buckets of frogs.
