About the Book
I was born in London in 1963 of Irish immigrant parents.
I remained in London till 1969 when the family returned to Ireland.
I always think of myself as Irish but a Londoner as well. This was reinforced with me later as I never returned to London until I was married and even then it was around 2004 when I finally did make the trip.
It awoke in me my sense of belonging to my sense of London.
I have since returned to London in October 2008 and the resulting photographs make up this volume.
It is even more ironic as I now commute from my home in Co. Kerry Ireland to Southampton, where I work for ESB International. I do this with a every second week trip through London.
I hope the photographs in this book give you a flavor of todays London.

Married (to Miriam) with 3 children (Keith, Rachel and Stewart). Currently working for ESB International as a Safety Advisor. I'm currenly working on an overhaul on a Peat Burning Station in the Irish Midlands Started photograph many years ago around the age of 14. Technically proficient, but thats the easy bit. Would love to spend more time working on photograph as a hobby. I tried a bit of professional photograph but found it ruined the buzz and unfortunately this caused me to stop taking pictures for a while. Back into it now thankfully, just looking to get better.
