About the Creator
Darryl Joel Berger
Kingston, Ontario (Canada)
Darryl Joel Berger is the author of two collections of short stories – Punishing Ugly Children, published Fall 2010 by Killick Press, and Dark All Day, published Winter, 2013 by John Gosslee Books. His fiction and illustrations have appeared in many magazines. Punishing Ugly Children won the 2007 David Adams Richards Prize and was short-listed for the 2011 ReLit Awards. His short story "Scissors" was a finalist in the 2007 Commonwealth Short Story Competition. With his wife Christina, he runs a literary press called Upstart Press in Kingston, Ontario.
