About the Book
This book describes an expedition in the High Arctic that my wife and I embarked on in the summer of 2013 aboard the expedition ship Sea Adventurer.
With texts touching on geography, geology, history, and Inuit culture, the book explores seldom seen parts of the Canadian High Arctic and of Northwest Greenland with photography of the austere, fierce and sublime scenery. Photos of the Arctic ice - in the form of sea ice, icebergs and glaciers – with its delicate colors and exquisite shapes complement this book.
I hope that this book will make the reader or viewer appreciate that Arctic ice is a magnificent, marvellous and delightful phenomenon that should not disappear from this world.
