About the Book
The Royal William Yard is located in Plymouth, England. The Yard forms the largest collection of Grade 1 listed military buildings in Europe and was designed by Sir John Rennie. The buildings were originally constructed between 1824-1836. The Royal William Yard was designed to supply the entire Royal navy fleet with beer, rum, ships biscuits and cured meat. The buildings have been redeveloped by Gillespie Yunnie Architects, who along with developers Urban Splash, have regenerated these industrial military buildings into apartments, offices, bars, restaurants and shops. These photographs were taken by Ivo Dukic from August 2014 to August 2015.
