Color Portraits of the 80's and 90's

Armed with a pocket size rangefinder camera, an Olympus XA, I would record my experiences and friends I encountered in the 1980's and 90's.

I ran Leonard's Artspace, a drive-by art gallery and performance space in Modesto, CA.
Taught photography at the College of the Redwoods in Mendocino.
Attended cultural celebrations of all kinds throughout Northern California as well as wild fringe festivals.
Doing ag research enabled me access inside the canneries to conduct tests on new crop varieties, and to document the workers.
A week long trip to Ensanada Mexico ,hanging out with the ladies of the El Lido Club.
Trips to The Big Island of Hawai'i I found another culture to experience and to preserve through photography.

These colorful and diverse cultural experiences I am proud to have witnessed and to have recorded.
