Monika lives in New York with two borrowed finches named Adam and Lisa.
She wrote for over 20 years with no serious intent to publish until the Frederick Douglass Creative Arts Center inspired her to shake
off the shy girl. This book is the result and she is forever grateful.
"Ms'd Opportunities" is Monika's first publishing endeavor and is certainly not her last. She is currently on a quasi fictional novel tentatively titled "Black Butterflies".
