About the Book
Created during the summer of our 35th reunion (2015), this is a 178-page book of the Black Hawk High School graduating class (and other classmates) of 1980, from South Wayne, Wisconsin. These pages are filled with pictures and stories of who we are now.
An excerpt from the Book: "We are farmers, educators, nurses, pastors, surgeons, and restaurant owners. We are pilots, cowboys, singers, new-home designers, gold miners, college professors, and chefs. We have enlisted in the Army, Navy/Marine Corp and have won awards doing so. Some of us ride motorcycles and some ride horses. We work in law enforcement and for city and county governments. We are hunters, fishermen, and animal advocates - in wildlife rehabilitation and animal rescues.
"Some of us have children and have adopted children, which as of today range in age from 5 to 35 years old. Some of us are empty-nesters while others of us are still in the trenches raising children. Sixteen of us have grandchildren, who range in age from infants to 15 years old. Others of us are “hoping for” grandchildren – either “soon” and "in no hurry." "
