the flower show

This is my first book, and also the first for my photography gallery, Photographic Image. I am trained as a technical illustrator but then began to become more and more interested in photography. Why the flower show? Well, botanical subjects got me hooked early on, colours, shapes, patterns and so on. Then I dicovered street photography. An amazing and all consuming not to mention vast subject. The flower show is where botanical meets street. The people dress in such wacky ways, letting their personalities show to all. They are also SO engrossed in their passion that they never seem to spot me, plus the fact that everbody has a camera. Marquees and mature trees become the buildings and the steel walk ways become the roads. Signed copies are available direct from the gallery at a extra cost of £10.00 to cover all shipping costs.
