About the Book
This issue focuses on trying something new. For Betsy Welch and her friend Mimi it was pushing their limits in a multi-day stage race in Spain, Paula Burton took up fat biking, and Carmel Ecker took a skills clinic to get some air time. It’s all about leaving your comfort zone!
Tammie and Mark invite us along on their bike-themed wedding, which took place in September on the legendary Seven Summits Trail in Rossland, BC.
We also chatted with Trish Bromley, who is creating waves in the women’s freeride scene by being the first woman to compete in Crankworx Whistler’s Dual Speed and Style. You can find out more about her experience on page 28.
Our resident trainer Jaclyn Delacroix has us pushing boundaries of a different kind. She gives us insight into the mind/body connection.
This issue’s cover shot features Micayla Gatto at the Crankworx Pump Track Challenge, which took place in August. She finished the race in third place.
