About the Book
The old university city of Heidelberg has captivated tourists for generations through the beauty of its setting and the melancholy charm of its ruined castle. Nearby, Mannheim has more of a city feel, while picturesque Weinheim preserves some handsome half-timbered houses. Older than all three is Speyer, home not only to a vast Romanesque cathedral with imperial tombs, but also to a museum of technology.
