About the Book
Nature creates the most visually stimulating textures! They can be found in the roots of old trees or somewhere amongst the miles of bark that jacket them. You can find texture on the forest floor or near ponds and lakes. Even the tiniest colony of lichen can create amazing textural drama. The colors that can be discovered are equally astounding. Rich colors that no one would notices without a close look. I have always had a fascination for texture! It’s like a treasure hunt every time I go out in search of new colorful textures that stimulate the senses. Many people view my textural photos and ask; “What is it?” This book is a selection of photographs I took of textures I discovered. See if you can guess what they are.
