Billy the Cloud has lots of fun in Cloud World, where he gets to play wiffle ball, eat his peanut butter sandwich, and read his books every day. Every so often, however, he and Mama float down to Ground Level to have adventures, meet real life people, and hear great stories (like the ones Billy reads about in his books.)

This time, Billy and Mama visit NYC, where they meet Mr. Busyman, a stressed-out workaholic whose dedication to work has alienated him from his family.

The juxtaposition of their different lives yields moving stories and memorable lessons that will resonate in the hearts of every human being.
