The NSF funded Paleo Exploration Project (PEP) of the University of Montana is described. The three year project provides teachers and students hands-on exposure to Cretaceous fossils and geospatial technology used by modern paleontologists. Numerous photographs illustrate the 2007 preparations and activities in the northern Great Plains of northeast Montana.
