About the Book
Through these photographs, I explore the vast phenomenon that we call time—infinite, constant, and steadfast.
The images within are all long exposures—meaning that the shutter of the camera was left open for an extended amount of time—at least one second and at times up to one hour. This lengthy exposure time reveals something that the human eye cannot: time elapsed and then encapsulated into a single image.
This study contains images from both digital and 35mm film cameras shot entirely from within the state of West Virginia.
Enjoy!
