Cali Rezo est une artiste prolifique de la blogosphère graphique française. Parmi toutes ses créations (croquis, photos, collages, chansons, doudous...), elle a particulièrement travaillé le portrait à travers plusieurs styles. Des Klimteries de ses débuts aux récentes séries de Fantômes, son oeuvre éclectique est le produit d'une exploration constante de pistes nouvelles.

Cali Rezo peint directement sur ordinateur avec une tablette graphique et un stylet, appliquant des méthodes traditionnelles à des outils modernes. Le travail de chaque oeuvre commence par une séance photo pour étudier la lumière générale du sujet. A partir de ces références, Cali Rezo esquisse un crayonné, pose les aplats clairs et sombres avant de terminer par les détails.

Cali Rezo is a prolific artist from the French graphic arts blog world. Among all her creations - sketches, photos, collages, songs, doudous (baby comforters) - she especially worked on the portrait genre, through several styles. From the Klimteries of her beginnings to the recent Ghost series, her eclectic work is the product of an unending exploration of new tracks.

Cali Rezo creates her digital paintings directly on a computer, using a drawing tablet and stylus, applying traditional methods to contemporary tools. The work on each painting begins with a shooting session in order to study the general light of the subject. Drawing upon those references, Cali Rezo draws a rough, then applies the light and dark tint areas before finishing off with the details.
