UALR TRIO Talent Search

This is the true story of thirteen strangers picked to be in the UALR TRIO Talent Search Science Enrichment Summer Program to find out what happens when students stop faking it and start being real…real scientists, that is.

We selected students from all over Little Rock to join us for a weeklong summer program designed to get students hyped up about science. We got our hands dirty all week with science activities including the germ swab, egg drop, photo and nature hike, and forensic investigation. Each experiment was accompanied by a thought-provoking and inspiring lesson designed by our illustrious science specialist, Wes Watkins, with assistance from Precious, our lucky Serta sheep.
