In photography there are three important players: the subject of the image, the photographer behind the camera, and the later viewer looking at the result. The person in a portrait is a collaboration between the subject and the photographer. The image is the definitive statement on that relationship. While ultimately one thinks control rests with the photographer, the model expresses the core of the image to be viewed.
This book explores visually the relationship between a model and a photographer, focusing on the nude. With comments by both the model and photographer, and an introduction by Charles Gatewood.
The book is also available in a signed limited edition of 25 copies and includes two matted prints, one color and one handmade platinum print on fine paper. The introductory price for the limited edition is $300. Send e-mail to info@brianpawlowski.com to determine availability.
NOTE: The author will be signing the book at Modernbook Gallery in Palo Alto, CA on July 17, 2009 from 7:00 - 10:00 PM.
All images in book are available as prints up to 16" x 20". Please send mail to info@brianpawlowski.com for prices.

wow! a lot of nice figurenude photos. A lot are just a bit too much photographs of the person but those are not prevalent.
