In 2006 I set out to travel a length of the Yangtze River in China to document the people and places that were affected by the construction of the Three Gorges Dam. Over a million people were to be displaced from their homes by the massive project, not to mention the loss of many places of cultural and religious significance. My book is a document of the communities and people who are affected by the dam and their altered and still changing surroundings.

This collection showcases some of the most breathtaking shots from the remotest parts of China. Mr. Antonopoulos has an exceptional eye for uncommon beauty. It is truly a masterpiece that should not be missed. I only wish this work was available in braille.
