*Motivated by this fab competition, I moved to make one of my first dreams a reality; publish a book... not quite the platform I envisioned as a child, but so much more rewarding and inspirational than I imagined.
After contemplating this story for years and since that first dedicated day out on the streets photographing for this purpose, (11-07-07) until today, there has been alot of progress towards seeing my art make a difference in the lives of others, and along the way I brought with me 22 incredible artists... we did it!!
And I can honestly say, it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

what i like the most about your contribution - is that you put it out there even though it didn't really fit our theme; it had a message and you followed your heart! for me, your photo was a gift; a heart made of light cradled in the mountains... what a glorious sign to accompany JD Martin's song "One Heart." i cried for days and couldn't stop playing it... that's what i wanted to see; all of us coming together.
i am blessed by all of you who have come together to work with me on this fabulous project, to share your hearts for others is my reward. thank you jan, for *you*
