This is the second edition of a book about one family through a period of over 20 years. The first of the family comes from the Isle of Skye and the youngest generation live in Edinburgh.
This is the story of that journey through the family history.

Lilian Sloan was born in Edinburgh in 1945. She spent most of her adult life working with teenagers. In 1970 She moved to Fife where she met her husband Ian (John William Sloan) and has lived in Fife ever since. They were married in 1976 and there daughter Susan was born the following year. Lilian retired in 1996 and a few years later she took up the research which is included in this book. This series of 4 books is written for her daughter, who lives in Edinburgh, so that the past might not be forgotten.
