"Picturing the '50s" covers renowned photojournalist Neil Clemans' wild ride as a tabloid news photographer at the Los Angeles Mirror during the 1950s and early 1960s.

There are over 70 outstanding, rare black and white pictures of historical value, from movie stars of the era, beatniks, murderesses and strippers to presidential candidates and boxers on the ropes. Included are this photographer's encounters with screen legends such as Marilyn Monroe, Lana Turner, Debbie Reynolds, Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra, Joan Crawford, Jayne Mansfield, Judy Garland, and Elvis Presley.
